Overview

A Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility is any facility that offers treatment for persons with chemical dependency. Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 464, requires facilities providing substance abuse treatment services to be licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Reimbursement rules applicable to Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility are located at Title 1 of the Texas Administrative Code, Part 15, Chapter 355, SubChapter J, Division 13, Rule 8241.
