Family Planning Services

Overview

Family planning services help individuals determine the number and spacing of their children. This promotes positive birth outcomes and healthy families. Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) helps fund clinic sites across the state that provide quality, comprehensive, low-cost, and easily accessible reproductive health care to women and men. Methodology / Rules

The Healthy Texas Women rules are located at Title 1 of the Texas Administrative Code, Part 15, Chapter 382, Subchapter A, Rules 382.1-382.29. The Family Planning Program rules are located at Title 1 of the Texas Administrative Code, Part 15, Chapter 382, Subchapter B, Rules 382.1-382.29

Reimbursement rules applicable to the Healthy Texas Women Program are located at Title 1 of the Texas Administrative Code, Part 15, Chapter 382, SubChapter A, Rules 382.101 - 382.129.

The fee schedules and any periodic adjustment(s) to the fee schedules are published in banner messages contained in provider Remittance and Status (R&S) reports, Medicaid Bulletin articles, web postings, provider manual, fee schedules or other provider notification.
