Overview
This is a 1915 Medicaid State plan Home and Community-based Services – Adult Mental Health (HCBS-AMH) benefit for adults with serious mental illness (SMI) and extended tenure in psychiatric hospitals, as well as to divert this population from jails and emergency departments into community treatment programs.
