Overview

Renal dialysis services are available for Members with one of the following diagnoses: (1) Acute renal disease--a renal disease with a relatively short course, the cause of which is usually correctable; (2) chronic renal disease (end-stage renal disease)--a stage of renal disease that requires continuing dialysis or kidney transplantation to maintain life or health.
